I remember as a kid seeing this movie in theatres. I went with my aunt and cousin to see it. The entire drive home, me and my cousin were trying to figure out how to make transformers a reality. The logistics are a nightmare but I would love to make a real transformer. Anywho! This movie felt straight out of a Saturday morning cartoon. It was the 80s series come to life in live action which was finally possible thanks to the advancements in CGI. There were several moments of spotty effects but I could not complain about the look of the transformers. The characters in the movie were…there. Some of the jokes got a genuine chuckle from me but the actors used up all their top-tier acting on talking to robots that weren’t there. You can’t expect much from a Transformers movie but this thing was filled to the brim with action and that is really why we are here. If you haven’t watched this movie, do it. Dialogue is cringe but the action makes up for it.
