This felt like a mix of several different action movies, all in one flick. The precision of John Wick, the smarts of Sherlock Holmes, a finale like Die Hard, mixed with everything in between. Denzel and Chloe Grace Moretz were the only interesting characters in this thing but it's played so serious and dramatic it comes off almost bland anyway. I wish it had more of an identity rather than a multi-inspired film. It also dragged quite a bit throughout the movie. It’s an okay movie, but it is more of a watch it when you catch it kind of movie. You don’t need to go out of your way to see this. It plays it safe for a basic R-rated action movie.
