The Equalizer 2 (2018)

This was definitely an improvement over the first one. It felt more like a personal story. Even the villain had a personal connection so there was a little bit of a chess match going on. The action also improved slightly this time around. Pedro Pascal is always a treat in any movie that he is in. There is still a lot of identity that this movie needs to find. I keep comparing moments to other action movies rather than it being its own thing. It’s a fun enough action movie. Still not a must-see, but a step in the right direction.
