This is essentially the Michael Bay Transformers movies with the plot of The Amazing Spiderman in a Ninja Turtles skin. There were a lot of things that are really great about this movie, namely the turtles and April. Will Arnett’s character was too much of a comedic relief when one of the turtles already had that in his personality. The turtles look really good 95% of the time. This was a decent first outing for the reboot. The villain dialogue comes off too cartoony and mustache twirly. This movie gets a lot right but needs to get some of the writing improved and they could have a fantastic film. This one is worth the watch for sure.
