Gotta love how all these movies had to be 3D after Avatar made bank. This one also tied up the loose ends of the series finally. It had a few more twists up its sleeve but it finally came full circle. It also has a theme of lying for attention which I guess is a good moral to cover. Everyone dies in this one though. All the violence and gore you can ask for in a “final chapter”. The movies up to this point were a roller coaster in quality. It started to become a very gory soap opera. I guess that is to be excited when you want a complex plot but give your writers like 2 weeks to make a script. The series definitely needed to end after 7 straight Octobers in theatre. This has more of a cult status. I’m glad the movies were all 90 minutes so they never felt like they were overstaying their welcome. Give the Seven films a watch if you are feeling strong stomached.
