I'm gonna be real, this was a very weird movie. Owen Wilson plays this Bob Ross knockoff. There are a lot of sex jokes, mostly with all women wanting to be with him. But of course, it never fills the hole left in his heart by his one true love. The comedy comes off as almost British in nature. I can't quite explain it. The humor was if Family Guy, The Office, and a British comedy had a baby about a knockoff Bob Ross, this would be it. There were too many oddball characters for anyone to truly stand out. The story is basically just a PBS station trying to save itself from being shut down due to budget cuts. There are weird romance plots that were just odd. I had a few chuckles, but the only joke that made me genuinely laugh was when a girl gets it on with a delivery driver in his truck. There are 2 quick squeaks from outside the truck and then she comes out. It's a weird mess, that had a handful of emotional moments. I didn't hate my experience. If you like Owen Wilson and feel a comedy, this might be for you. Other than that, maybe wait for it to be rentable.
