I’m kinda torn on how I feel about this. It does two things really well. It has diverse casting but in an organic way rather than the woke Hollywood way. The cinematography was actually top-notch. The movie itself, however, felt like a bit of a slugfest until the last 20-30 minutes of the movie. It took the climax happening for me to be interested for more than 30 seconds. The main evil in this movie felt like a Hindi ripoff of The Boogeyman from earlier this year. There was decent foreshadowing but it was a little too on the nose for how it ends. It's an alright movie but a better fit for streaming during the spooky season.
