This is definitely the best film in the trilogy. It has action, heart, and some leaps of faith. I loved all the set pieces and the characters. Nothing about this movie had any weaknesses. I do question a couple of things but they were just part of the plot. Mainly the first test with the blades. It implied kneeling, not kneeling then rolling. Minor plothole for an edge-of-your-seat moment. I weirdly never think about this one because it doesn’t have Raiders’ classic open or Temple of Doom’s Kali ma stuff. It was just an epic adventure meant to put a seal on a great trilogy. Indiana learns not everything is meant to go to a museum and rides off into the sunset. Maybe he will retire and be a teacher full-time. I’m sure the students are sick of a professor that disappears for days or weeks at a time. Yes, a fitting ending for a man who nearly died multiple times over the course of like a day or two. No need for more adventures. Right?!...Right?
