This movie was the first animated DC movie and they came out swinging. It was from the world of Batman: The Animated Series. The backstop origin of his crime-fighting was a nice touch. Everything from the flashback set up the working pieces for the present-day story. It was a little cliche to make the new mystery person someone he has a deep-rooted past with that he hasn't seen in years. Overall I loved the movie. This set the standard for what a solid Batman story should be. It has flaws, but the story itself was told well.

60%-69% = only watch for completionist reasons
0%-59% = just skip it, I find the positives and they don't exist here
