I didn’t really plan on seeing this movie but I wanted to see something and this was something I hadn’t seen yet. It is a French courtroom drama where a woman is on trial to figure out if her husband was murdered or committed suicide. The best witness is her son but he is blind and tries to tune out when his parents fight. It has incredible performances from everyone. The story plays out like a breadcrumb mystery. Little reveals spread throughout. I didn’t hate the movie but it did drag at times. I zoned out a couple of times only to realize it was the same scene going on. I commend the story and performances but all the other aspects could have been better.
