About My Father (releases 5/26/23)

This movie isn't bad, but it felt like your run-of-the-mill "meet the dysfunctional family" rom-com. There were some genuine funny moments and the twist towards the end was good but barely changed a thing. This is perfect for a casual date night. Most of the side characters are very one-note but the main characters are pretty relatable. This movie is nothing fancy and worth an afternoon date or a night in when it hits streaming. It's very middle of the road for what it is.
